All you need to do is when you go on to make an offer you enquire first then after that you see how much they want.When you go back to make an offer go on clauses and options.then go to percentages of next sale and put it up to 50% ang go back to the offer screen and at the bottom it will say how much the deal is worth and say if the other club want 3.5m for the player and the deal is worth 6.5 m you go and change how much money the deal is worth until it is on 3.5. Most of the time it works for example I bought robin van persie for 70 grand and mathew flamini for 200 grand

Ok, after playing this game with lots of different teams and in several leagues I have realised the best team to win with is Liverpool F.C. They have a strong team to start with and a bit of spending money, plus the board doesnt expect you to win everything I.E. United or Chelsea.
I have decided to do this Hint/walkthrough because I am currently in my fourth season with L.F.C and have won 3 league titles 12 trophies and have only lost 16 games out of 260.
So heres some basic tips to start with.

1.Never buy a player older than 30 unless they are in very good form or are going to come on a bosman
2.Dont change formation every game it's good to stick with 1 formation for at least 6 games.
3.dont sell players just because you get offered a lot of money for them.eg. I get offers every month to sell gerrard, but he is indisposable.
4.dont sub players a lot they get depressed.
5.dont sell strikers if they are not scoring, check out the amount of assists they have made first. If this is high keep them.

GOOD PLAYERS TO BUY.
At the start of your first season always check for players with expiring contracts
1 Guzman-Juventus_is good for a free player and you will make money from selling him.
2 Nick hamann-Chelsea_I paid 340k for him and is a great developing player send him out on loan and the following season you will get twice as much as you paid.
3 Eugen Polanski-Monchengladbach_I paid 3.4 mil for him he is a great player after a season, making sure you bring him on for a few games.you will sell him on after a few seasons for about 6 mil.
4.Steven Taylor-Newcastle_3.8 mil and worth every penny has been a first team regular for 4 seasons.I frequently get offers for over 10 mil
5 Olivier Kapo-Juventus-Free-sold him on after a season for 9 mil
6 Jurgen Gjasula-Kaiserslautern_Paid 1.9 mil sold 2 seasons later for 5 mil
7Andres Dalessandro_portsmouth_wait a season then sign him on a bosman, will create and score goals .sold for 10 mil the next season.
8 Maniche-Chelsea_Bosman, sold on for 6 million
9james milner-Newcastle_Bosman, sold for 10 mil following season.
